Drinking sufficient water is definitely important for your health and even weight loss. But how to avoid those frequent trips to the washroom? Here’s what Certified Fitness & Nutrition coach Shashank has to say about your daily intake of water.

Drink sufficient water to enable your kidneys to work efficiently.

Increase Water Intake in these Simple Steps⁣

Each problem should have a unique solution. There could be several of them causing you to miss out on the most important liquid of all. I’ll list the top ones here:⁣
Problem 1 – Not remembering to drink water⁣
Problem 2 – Don’t like drinking water⁣
Problem 3 – Too lazy to get water when thirsty⁣

The solution has to match your problem in order to succeed. ⁣

𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝗪𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞⁣
This had been my kryptonite – being too lazy to go to the kitchen and fill the bottle once it was empty. Once I started keep 4 bottles of 1 litre each beside my desk, my water consumption increased as the water was already available.⁣

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝗪𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬⁣
Beverages like lime water, green tea, coolers, black coffee etc. are a great way to increase you water consumption if you don’t like to drink plain water.⁣

PS – Ensure that you consume in moderation and lay-off the caffeine near your bed time.⁣

𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝗪𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐩𝐩⁣
A big problem with people is that they want to hydrate but get so busy with their office and work that they almost forget to have water. Water reminding apps are a good solution. You can also use a fitness band or a smart watch for the same.⁣

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝗪𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫⁣
Many people just don’t like the taste of water and cannot consume higher volumes of it. For them infusing their water with fresh slices of fruit like berries, oranges, lemons or crushed leafy veggies like mint, parsley etc. can be of great help.⁣
