We don’t develop courage by being happy every day. We develop it by surviving difficult times and challenging adversity.”– Barbara De Angelis a great author said.Let us read the Story of Leena
Times are tough for everyone but we have a choice either we give up or we fight back. I can tell you with my personal experience that fighting back is a far better option. Let me share some of my struggles they may not be huge for many but they were no less than a Mount Everest for me when I faced them.
Be it bullied as a child for being obese
Be its extreme lack of confidence and personality issues due to weight issues
Be it not knowing how to start and what was the right way to start for Leena
Be it convincing oneself that it is worth fighting the battle to lose weight
Be it gaining 3 digit weight post-pregnancy and Leena has self-doubt if I will ever lose weight again
Be it back to back accidents once a fracture in the leg while working out in Gym and later Chikungunya where I had to be hospitalized twice and recovery took over 12 months
But my best times posted all of the above issues faced. The day I have announced as the winner of the Transformation Challenge 5.0 competition, I realized your commitment will always reap you rich rewards.
If you are facing a new challenge or being asked to do something that you have never done before don’t be afraid to step out. You have more capability than you think you do but you will never see it unless you place a demand on yourself for more. Everyone needs to make a beginning and believe me there is no better day than today.
I know many of us can for once may climb a mountain but think of reducing weight can give us goosebumps. We often take our health so lightly we forget this is the gift of God and we need to preserve this as a gift and not abuse it.
He who doesn’t want to face his challenges shall always face challenges! Hence do not let circumstances decide your destination and journey. Some people will just go with the flow of things and sway in life, while others will fight against the currents and go upstream to reach their destiny. Chose your destiny and work towards making it a reality.
Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible, and suddenly you’re doing the impossible. This is my journey, remember impossible is nothing. I can tell you all with my personal experience of 40+ years of life which had its own share of pleasures and challenges.
Stay Indoors, Stay fit (Exercise regularly), Eat Healthy (Quantified Nutrition). Remember
“Where there is a will there is a way.”
