Sonam’s fitness journey began seven years ago, shortly after her marriage, when her husband introduced her to the world of fitness. Despite her initial disinterest in the gym and weight training, Sonam had always loved sports. “I never liked the gym or weight training, but I loved playing sports,” she recalls. However, with her husband’s continuous support, she gradually embraced the fitness lifestyle. Though her journey wasn’t always smooth, Sonam’s perseverance paid off. She notes, “I have been consistent, and I have been inconsistent, but every time I slipped, I always laced my shoes up and got back into the gym.”
For Sonam, fitness wasn’t just about muscle definition or looking lean; it was about feeling the overall physical, mental, and emotional benefits of a healthy lifestyle. “I feel an immense difference in my energy levels, mood, digestion, complexion, sleep quality, and focus. It has positively impacted every area of my life.”
Corporate Powerhouse to Fitness Expert
Before making a career switch, Sonam held impressive corporate roles. She worked as an Enterprise Accounts Manager at Vodafone Idea Limited, handling corporate and government clients and managing business development, product penetration, and relationship management. Her leadership role also involved overseeing a team of Business Development Executives, ensuring the achievement of monthly sales targets.
Her prior roles included working at ICICI Bank as a Relationship Manager for Personal Loan & Credit Cards, managing a large team of sales executives and branches, and delivering excellent results in business development. She also served as a National Account Manager at Vodafone Spacetel Limited, where she drove business for mobility and fixed-line solutions. Sonam’s corporate career began at SBILIFE Insurance Company Ltd., where she worked as a Key Accounts Manager, responsible for building relationships and managing individual insurance and group business.
However, despite her successful corporate career, Sonam’s passion for fitness grew stronger. With the unwavering support of her husband, she eventually made the courageous decision to leave the corporate world and become a full-time Nutrition and Fitness Coach.

“My fitness journey has been supported by weight lifting, but yours doesn’t have to be,” Sonam explains. “Whether it’s yoga, cycling, walking, or playing sports, the key is to find something you enjoy that keeps you moving. Fitness is about finding what works for you and sticking to it.”
