In 2020, life took a difficult turn for Dr. Khushbu Sindhi, a practicing dentist who had always been passionate about health but never found the right balance between her professional responsibilities and personal well-being.

When her mother-in-law went on bedrest due to multiple organ failure at the age of just 57, it became a turning point in her life. Watching a loved one struggle due to poor health made Khushbu realize that being medically aware and being truly healthy are two very different things.

She says,

“As a dentist, I was always aware of how lifestyle impacts health. But watching my mother-in-law’s condition made me reflect on my own habits — I knew it was time to act and take charge of my fitness.”


The Beginning of the Fitness Journey

In January 2021, Khushbu began her journey — with one simple goal: to lose 5 kgs. Between her hectic clinical hours and personal responsibilities, it wasn’t easy to stay consistent. But she made a commitment to herself — to make health a priority, just like her patients’ smiles.

She started small — mindful eating, regular walks, and short home workouts. Gradually, she built momentum and confidence. What began as a short-term weight-loss attempt soon became a sustainable lifestyle change.


From 81 kg to 56 kg — A Journey of Transformation

Through steady progress, Khushbu went from 81 kg to 56 kg, losing a total of 27 kg — but gaining much more in return.

“This journey helped me not just lose weight but gain confidence in my body and myself overall,” she shares.

Her transformation wasn’t just about physical change — it was about mental clarity, improved energy, and a renewed sense of purpose. As a healthcare professional, she also noticed how her improved fitness positively impacted her focus and productivity at work.


From Dentistry to Fitness Coaching — A New Mission

Khushbu’s growing curiosity about nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle science inspired her to dig deeper into the subject.
Her scientific background as a dentist helped her understand the body’s systems and metabolism better, motivating her to pursue a Diploma in Nutrition and Fitness from INFS (Institute of Nutrition & Fitness Sciences).

“Just like dentistry focuses on prevention and care, I realized fitness too is about prevention — preventing lifestyle diseases, preventing self-neglect, and building strength for life.”

Now, Dr. Khushbu aims to bridge the gap between medical awareness and lifestyle wellness, helping others achieve balance through science-backed fitness and nutrition.
