Like many women, my fitness journey began at a time of overwhelming personal challenges. After my second C-section, I found myself battling significant weight gain and an immense loss of self-confidence. The physical changes were tough, but the emotional toll was even harder. I wasn’t just looking to get lean; I wanted to dive deep into the science behind fitness and truly understand how to transform my body.
At that point, I was juggling life with two young children, but something inside me knew I couldn’t let go of my health.
My fitness journey wasn’t just about me anymore; it was about showing my kids the importance of health and strength, both mentally and physically. While many mothers experience similar struggles, my journey had some deeply personal battles along the way.
During the pandemic, I lost my father. That pain was closely followed by the birth of my daughter, but instead of joy, I found myself spiraling into depression, gaining even more weight. I barely recognized the woman in the mirror. That was my wake-up call. I needed to reclaim my health before I could be the mother, wife, and individual I aspired to be.
My connection with Fittr began much earlier, back when it was still known as “Squats” in 2018. I had always admired the transformations but never imagined I could be one of those success stories. Struggling with thyroid issues and PCOD symptoms, I was hesitant. But after my second pregnancy, when my weight neared 80 kgs, I knew it was time to make a real commitment.
I joined INFS (Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Sciences) with two clear goals: to transform my body and to become a fitness coach. The process was anything but easy.
With a three-month-old in my arms and a toddler running around, life was chaotic, but I didn’t let that stop me. I made time for myself, studied hard, and applied every bit of knowledge I learned on my own body. The results slowly started to show.
As I lost weight, I regained not just my physical strength but also my mental clarity. My thyroid medications were reduced, and my PCOD symptoms started disappearing. Today, I’m proud to say I’m free from any medication. My skin cleared up, and over the course of a year and a half, I managed to shed 28 kgs.
But my journey didn’t end there. I wasn’t satisfied with just losing weight—I wanted to gain muscle, build strength, and push my limits. This phase of my journey has been just as rewarding as the weight loss, and it’s one I never imagined I’d be pursuing.
Today, as a Fittr Coach, I have the incredible honor of helping others embark on their own transformations. My mission is to show people that fitness is about so much more than just losing weight. It’s about fortifying yourself against life’s challenges, staying strong, and thriving as you age.
I am endlessly thankful to Fittr, JC, and every person who stood by me. This journey has been shaped by resilience, determination, and an unyielding belief that I could achieve what once seemed impossible. My transformation is not the end—it’s the foundation for the life I’ve built and continue to build, both for myself and for the countless others I hope to inspire.
This is my story—one of loss, perseverance, and an unwavering pursuit of strength, both inside and out.
