They say that with age, you slow down. They say that after motherhood, your body is never the same. They say a career, kids, and your own dreams can’t coexist.
I’ve lived through all of it. And for a while, I believed it too.
After two C-sections, multiple complications, and raising two toddlers while holding my career together, I felt like my energy, my strength, and my old self were gone forever.
I love my kids to bits, but somewhere between feeding schedules, project deadlines, and sleepless nights, I forgot what it felt like to truly feel like me — like Dimple.
The sad part? No one told me that you can love your family and still choose yourself. You can grow older and grow stronger. You can break the “it’s too late” narrative, one small step at a time.
I didn’t start this journey to “get my old body back.” I started to move forward — for my health, my happiness, and my future.
For the woman I am today, and the woman I am still becoming.
Fitness gave me more than a stronger body. It gave me:
You don’t need perfect conditions to start. You just need the courage to take that first step.
To every woman reading this:
It’s not selfish. It’s necessary.
Start today. Start small. Take one step at a time. Your future self is waiting to thank you.
If I could find myself again after motherhood, so can you.
Cheers to breaking barriers — of age, of motherhood, of self-love. 💛
